President Obama defends $100 million first family week long trip to Africa which will include "... military cargo planes airlifting 56 support vehicles, including 14 limousines, and three trucks to carry bulletproof glass panels to cover the windows where the family is set to stay". The same money would fund 26 years of White House tours that were cancelled due to the sequestration.

History of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) from inception in 1978 to 2008 that appears to have been compiled in response to President Bush's illegal wire taps prior to Obama's presidency. This is a very long but informative compilation of the changes in the laws and their misuse by NSA, CIA, and FBI. It also discusses the purpose of the "wall" between these agencies to prohibit the use of intelligence information obtained without warrants in the prosecution of criminal cases

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) which is supposed to guard the American people from inappropriate searches for intelligence work including activities under the Patriot Act denied only 11 of 34,000 requests by the government for warrants. Essentially NEVER. It is literally a rubber stamp for anything the government wants to do.

Frankly alarming video also features the testimony of peaceable citizens who had weapons confiscated after Hurricane Katrina, with examples of excessive force and intimidation on the part of police. Second amendment and property rights abrogated for impossible "security".

This video by the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association provides ample evidence of police abuse of power and shows what some law enforcement officers are trying to do about it. WARNING: the abuse is shocking and disturbing, something you never thought you would see in America.

At extreme cost to taxpayers, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office cracked the notorious "Rawesome Foods" raw milk ring who sold and drank raw milk. The second raid which culminated a year long investigation by 10 local, state, and federal agencies used high-tech video equipment and round the clock surveillance as well as under cover agents to bust the notorious outlaws.

Michael Hasting's wife has revealed that her husband was investigating CIA director John Brennon just before his death. The investigation is supposed to be published in the next few weeks in rolling stone magazine. It will be important to see what this report reveals and whether there may have been enough damaging material in it to get his killed.
